You Called My Name:
I had a dream and you were there,
you called my name out of the blue,
and I knew it was you.
I closed my eyes, I entered another world,
and the truth unfurled.
You seemed as though you really missed me,
I felt you hug me, and then you kissed me.
It felt so strange and I got so scared,
I saw you in another life and I wasn't prepared.
I know that you miss us, and we miss you too,
I just got scared and didn't know what to do.
In my dream it seemed so real,
it dislodged all of the feelings that I feel.
You called my name and said, "you can't do this anymore",
I keep pushing you away and closing the door.
Life is hard sometimes I just want you to know,
these feelings they come and then they go.
When things go wrong, then they go wrong,
I have to force myself to be strong.
There's so many things that I could possibly lose,
living life on the edge, you don't want to be in my shoes.
I know you have gone but your never forgotten,
life can be cruel and it can be rotten.
But we must all still believe,
There's nothing in life that you cannot achieve.
Overcome the obstacles that are set in your path,
Jump all of the hurdles and have the last laugh.
Good enough: "Life is a game of self worth, You only get what you think you deserve". "Am I good enough for you, Are you good enough for me". "Set your standards high, be the person that you want to see". "Respect, don't accept anything less". "You are worth it and you deserve it". "Don't repeat the cycle of self disrespect, As true happiness you will neglect". "Change your beliefs of which you hold about yourself, You can only do this but no one else". "Am I good enough for you, Are you good enough for me". "A mind worrying frantically". "They say that to change your life you must first change your thoughts, break the pattern of your minds defaults". "Are you good enough for me, Am I good enough for you, It's something for your mind to review".
Journey: Life’s a journey for everyone. We’re all on a journey of our own. Forgive the people that have let us down. Forgive the people that have hurt you. Life’s too short to carry bitterness. Life’s too short to be full of hate. Religious beliefs is what gets me through. A reason for living and my own purpose in this life. We all make mistakes no one is perfect. Make the best of every moment whilst we can. Life’s too short so we should act now. Unconditionally love the ones that we love. We all make mistakes that doesn’t make us bad people. It just makes us human. When you start to judge another remember to take a look at ourselves first. No ones perfect and we all make mistakes. Show love and compassion for everyone. Life’s too short and you don’t want to regret it. So be nice to others whilst you still can. Be nice to others and apply it as your daily rule. Remember that you too have made your own mistakes in this life and that we’re all on a journey of our own.
